Naval Aviation Museum

On our way home from Navarre Beach, we decided to stop in Pensacola to go to the National Naval Aviation Museum. We have taken the kids to this museum before, but Spencer was a tiny baby and had no idea. Since we were so close, we just decided to show him some airplanes. He was so excited. His favorite part was climbing in them and "driving" them. He had a blast. Cole, Molly, and I were able to go on a behind the scenes tour that explains how an airplane flies. All of the physics behind it was over their heads and quite frankly, over mine too! They enjoyed themselves nonetheless. All of the other children on the tour dropped out here and there except for them, so they became the tour guide's assistants when volunteers were needed to demonstrate a point. Cole also enjoyed sitting in the planes and seeing what it would be like to fly them. Molly, lacking a bit of common sense, was afraid to sit in them because she was worried that they might actually take off with her in them. We had a great time.
